How It Works
RATH® SmartAlert can connect both wireless and hard-wired emergency devices, providing full protection for all occupants of your commercial facility. The SmartAlert software allows you to text or email call notifications, retrieve staff information, and manage your call logs efficiently and easily.
Annunciator
The 6 Zone Annunciator Panel serves as the primary monitoring device for employees. It is a panel that is flush-mounted and has six LED lights that identify the station locations for the system. It offers easy installation because it comes pre-programmed. Whenever a call is placed through the system, a tone will sound to alert staff a call has come in. You can easily adjust the volume of the tone via a toggle switch or can choose to temporarily mute the tone operation.
If you have a larger commercial property with more than six zones, you can integrate multiple Annunciators to cover each zone of your building. The system generally includes 6 Switch Stations, the 6 Zone Annunciator, a power supply, and a dome light for each Switch Station (up to six).
When an alert is triggered, the device will be activated, and the connecting dome light will either flash or have steady illumination depending on the kind of Switch Station. The tone and light will both shut off once the call is canceled. If an error occurs in the system, it will trigger a steady tone to sound. If a critical system failure occurs, every LED will light up purple coupled with the steady tone sound.
RATH® Dome Light
The Dome Light will turn on when there is an activation in the Switch Station and will turn off when it is canceled. Calls received from an associated device are locally annunciated from the Dome Light. You can choose your Dome Light in stainless steel, ivory, or white to match your commercial building’s interior aesthetic.
RATH® Notification Center
The RATH® Notification Center is compatible with any Local Network (LAN) or can remain stand-alone. The Notification Center is typically installed in a central location, like a reception area for residential commercial properties or the primary Nurse’s Station so staff can view resident information and manage calls in real time.
