Power Buss Isolators are part of a family of line isolators that work on looped addressable systems and ensure a fault caused by a short circuit will not disable other detection devices that would be disabled on a non-addressable system. It allows the short circuit to be isolated within a loop section, so the rest of the loop section maintains its functionality.
