NFPA

The National Fire Protection Association, NFPA, is an international nonprofit organization based in the United States dedicated to eliminating fatalities, injuries, property and economic losses due to fire, electrical, and/or related hazards. The NFPA was formed in late 1896 with the initial goal of developing uniform standards for the design and installation of fire alarm sprinkler systems. Membership from affiliates of other organizations and fire insurance companies expanded in the early 1900s and also expanded their mission beyond fire sprinkler standards. The NFPA today provides a framework of fire alarm and life safety standards followed across the country and internationally.

HRSS is familiar with all pertinent NFPA codes and standards revolving around commercial fire alarm and life safety systems, and ensures compliance with all applicable standards.
