UL-approved NOTIFIER Self-Test detectors are a complete game changer by offering remote testing by just pushing a button, meaning every device can be tested without having to access spaces with occupants or difficult-to-access areas.
NOTIFIER INSPIRE™, combined with CLSS, also provides connectivity to mobile applications, a central station, and the cloud, which delivers remote monitoring over the entire system.
Self-testing detectors from NOTIFIER digitize the testing and inspection process, doing away with the requirement for a manual walk test involving numerous technicians. Instead, a single professional may test every detector using the CLSS mobile app, cutting down the process’ usual time from days to hours.
NOTIFIER INSPIRE™ Intelligent Sensing
The N16e and N16x fire panels feature software algorithms that process individual detector calculations thanks to the internal microcomputer used.
Smoothing and Drift Compensation – prevents issues from arising with the detector’s capability to detect smoke even if accumulated dirt is prevalent. Furthermore, the system can perform recurring measurements for sensitivity as required by NFPA 72. Momentary noise signals are mitigated through smoothing filters within the software.
Maintenance Warnings – A detector’s performance may be impaired when the drift compensation level reaches a particular point, at which point specific alerts are issued. There are three types of warning: (1) Low Chamber value; (2) Maintenance Alert, signifying dust buildup that is close to but below the permitted limit; (3) Maintenance Urgent, signifying buildup of dust that is higher than the permitted limit.
Sensitivity Adjust – The nine levels of sensitivity for alarm detection and be manually set or changed automatically depending on the time of day. Pre-alarm sensitivity levels can also be chosen on a predetermined basis.
Self-Optimizing Pre-Alarm – You may set every detector as a “self-optimizing” pre-alarm where it will study and learn its environment so it can set its pre-alarm levels accordingly.
Multi-Detector Sensing Cooperation – One of the patented features of NOTIFIER INSPIRE™ Intelligent Sensing is the capacity of a smoke sensor to take readings from neighboring sensors into account when determining whether to sound an alert or a pre-alarm. It enables a sensor to enhance its sensitivity to true smoke by a factor of approximately two to one without statistically sacrificing its capacity to suppress false alarms.
